OPTIBENT-6042

OPTIBENT 6042 is a powdered rheology additive based on an organically modified phyllosilicate. It has extremely thixotropic properties which develops high anti-sagging properties in formulations while retaining good processing properties and improved open times, even with increased levels of water. OPTIBENT 6042 makes it possible to increase the water required in systems and improves the processing consistency without impairing the hydration properties of the system. It is shear stable and compatible with a variety of binders. As a result, OPTIBENT 6042 is suitable for aqueous mineral systems, preferably for large format tile adhesive formulations and other thin applications. It also finds use in ETICS/adhesives and reinforcement mortars as well as thick-layer plasters.
