NORPOL® SVG is a high-quality gelcoat based on isophthalic-neopentyl glycol polyester resin. NORPOL® SVG is easy to apply and handle with good leveling and air release. NORPOL® SVG has a volatile content of ca. 30 wt% and reduced evaporation of volatile components under application. NORPOL® SVG is designed give an excellent protection against varying weather conditions compared with regular ISO/NPG gelcoats. The chemical structure provides a special protection against change in colour (yellowing) and loss of gloss after exposure to sunlight (UV radiation). NORPOL® SVG is especially well suited for products exposed to water and less aggressive chemicals at varying temperatures, such as sanitary articles, boats, car bodywork, cladding panels, etc. NORPOL® SVG is approved for boat production in compliance with - Det Norske Veritas’ Rules for classification of High Speed, Light Craft and Naval Surface Craft - Det Norske Veritas’ Standards for Certification No. 2.21, Craft 2008
