BYK-C 8002

BYK C 8002 is a reactive, polymeric coupling agent that can improve mechanical properties in filler-filled acrylate systems used in advanced materials. BYK C 8002 increases the flexural strength, compressive strength and modulus of elasticity by up to 30% for the advanced material. It also improves the anti-settling properties of formulations. BYK C 8002 is recommended for acrylate resins filled with amphoteric or basic fillers and has shown no negative impact on properties like hot water and weather resistance important for advanced materials. BYK C 8002 can be added during any stage of production at recommended levels of 0.1-0.5% to optimize performance of advanced material formulations.
