It functions as a pigment wetting agent to improve the fineness of grind, thus helping to improve hardness and gloss in applications. TROYMAX CALCIUM 6NA also minimizes loss-of-dry when ground with absorbing pigments and improves the action of Cobalt driers. It is often used in conjunction with Cobalt driers. TROYMAX CALCIUM 6NA assists in the through dry of air-initiated auto-oxidative drying systems and works synergistically with zinc products to provide heat stability in applications.
