SCONA TPPP 8104 FA

SCONA TPPP 8104 FA is a free-flowing compatibilizer that can be used in thermoplastic formulations. The SCONA TPPP 8104 FA contains 2.5% glycidyl methacrylate content which allows it to compatibilize polypropylene blends. As a compatibilizer, SCONA TPPP 8104 FA improves the adhesion between different polymer phases in polyolefin blends. It is commonly used as a compatibilizer for poly(lactic acid)-polypropylene and poly(butylene terephthalate)-polypropylene blends. When added at one-third the amount of the polyolefin phase, SCONA TPPP 8104 FA enhances the impact strength and elongation at break of the final product. This makes formulations utilizing SCONA TPPP 8104 FA ideal for applications requiring durable, flexible materials.
