CERAFLOUR 1004

CERAFLOUR 1004 is a biobased, micronized polymer with wax-like properties based on corn starch, for aqueous and solvent-based systems for matting and creating a soft-feel effect in coatings, with high transparency properties. CERAFLOUR 1004 has a matting effect and creates a strong soft-feel effect on surfaces. The polymer exhibits high clarity and has no effect on viscosity. CERAFLOUR 1004 is bio-based and consists of 100 % renewable raw materials. It is recommended for applications where a soft-feel, matte finish is required like wood coatings, furniture coatings, architectural coatings etc. CERAFLOUR 1004 provides benefits like sustainability, smooth application and an excellent surface feel in coatings.
