BYK P 9928 is a processing additive used in resin systems to prevent foam build-up during the curing process. BYK P 9928 has no influence on the corrosion resistance and only a minor influence on the curing. It enables curing with standard initiators, without influencing the curing or the properties. BYK P 9928 is liquid and easy to incorporate into resin systems. It prevents bubbles and foams that can cause surface defects. Recommended addition levels are 1% based on resin quantity. BYK P 9928 improves processability and helps achieve smooth defect-free surfaces important for performance and aesthetics.
