Alpha Olefin C2024, an ethylene low molecular weight polymer, is produced by INEOS Oligomers by using a modified Ziegler ethylene chain growth technology. The olefin mixture is a clear water-white, mobile liquid above its melting point. Alpha Olefin C2024 undergoes all reactions typical of alpha olefins. Alpha Olefin C2024 can be used in the production of oxo alcohols, alkylated aromatics, alpha olefin sulfonates, epoxides, tanning oils, synthetic fatty acids and biodegradable fluids.
