ZOLTEK PX35-13 3MM is a chopped carbon fiber product that provides ready impregnation of thermoset resins with the capability to mold complex shapes. The resultant carbon fiber/resin matrix composites offer high strength-to-weight and stiffness-to-weight ratios beneficial for advanced material applications requiring lightweight and high performance materials. ZOLTEK PX35-13 3MM chopped carbon fibers may also be used as a low-cost alternative in thermoplastic applications, whereby a small portion of the matrix-specific product can be replaced with chopped flake carbon fibers with negligible impact to composite properties ideal for advanced composites.
