TROYMAX ZIRCONIUM 18 is an effective auxiliary drier when used in combination with active driers. Primarily used to promote the through drying of coatings, TROYMAX ZIRCONIUM 18 is the active replacement for lead drier where regulations restrict the use of lead. Containing 18% zirconium metal, TROYMAX ZIRCONIUM 18 will yield improved gloss and color compared to lead and is usually used in combination with cobalt or manganese. At usage levels between 0.1% to 0.9% by weight of resin solids, TROYMAX ZIRCONIUM 18 helps ensure thorough drying of coatings for applications while meeting regulatory restrictions.
