MAXAMYL P
MAXAMYL P is an enzyme preparation containing phytase derived from a selected strain of Aspergillus niger. MAXAMYL P has a standardized activity of 5750 FTU/g. It is used in the food industry as an enzyme to enzymatically reduce phytate levels. Reducing phytate levels with MAXAMYL P provides benefits to food products by increasing nutrient availability. MAXAMYL P works by breaking down phytic acid, also known as phytate, allowing bound phosphorus and other minerals to be released and absorbed.
