DISPERBYK-2000

DISPERBYK 2000 is a wetting and dispersing additive used for stabilizing pigments in solvent-borne coatings. It prevents reflocculation of pigments even when CAB is added later. DISPERBYK 2000 deflocculates pigments through steric stabilization and uniform charge, preventing coflocculation leading to non-uniform coloring. As a result, materials processed with DISPERBYK 2000 achieve high gloss, improved color strength and transparency in transparent pigments, increased hiding power in opaque pigments. For advanced materials requiring precise pigment control and dispersion, DISPERBYK 2000 significantly improves jetness of carbon blacks. It also reduces viscosity, allowing for higher pigment loading and better leveling properties. DISPERBYK 2000 is particularly suitable during production of advanced materials where consistent pigment dispersion and viscosity control is important.
