BYKANOL-A

BYKANOL-A is an anti-gelling additive suitable for post-addition that prevents increased viscosity in air-drying and baking coatings, as well as gelling in long-term storage. BYKANOL-A contains an alkylol ammonium salt of acidic phosphoric acid esters and an oxime. As an additive, BYKANOL-A inhibits skin formation in oxidative-drying systems used in coating processes. It prevents thickening of acidic binders with basic pigments/fillers. If coatings have already gelled, BYKANOL-A can help reestablish processing viscosity when added.
