ADIPRENE L 42

ADIPRENE L 42 is a liquid urethane elastomer that provides excellent flexibility and durability properties ideal for Advanced Materials applications. ADIPRENE L 42 vulcanizates have good tensile and tear strength, good abrasion resistance, high resilience, and excellent flex life making it suitable for the preparation of rolls, solid tires, diaphragms, boots, and for other applications where good flex life is needed as for seals, bushings and mountings. It can withstand very low hardness down to 80 durometer A and temperatures as low as -130°F (-90C) without becoming brittle. ADIPRENE L 42 also has good compression set resistance and aging resistance, retaining most of its properties even after accelerated aging. Its low temperature properties like high strength and elongation at -70°F along with resistance to compression make it well-suited for applications requiring durability under varying temperature conditions.
