CYANOX 1790

CYANOX 1790 is a highly effective free radical scavenger antioxidant that provides superior long-term thermal and processing stability for polymers. As a melt stabilizer for polyolefins, polyamides, styrenics and other polymers used in advanced material formulations, CYANOX 1790 demonstrates low volatility and compatibility. It protects polymers from degradation during extrusion or other high heat processing. CYANOX 1790 contributes low odor and color while resisting discoloration and gas fading, maintaining high performance of colorfast advanced materials over time under heat stresses and UV exposure. Just 0.05-0.08% loading of CYANOX 1790 leads to significant improvement in melt flow retention and durability of mechanical properties for polymers widely used in high-tech advanced material applications.
