PTFE-free additive for producing semi-matt to matt fine textures in powder coatings. BYK-LP P 26957 is a PTFE-free texture additive for powder coatings. Depending on the dosage, the degree of fine structure can be controlled, ranging from semi-matt to matt gloss values. Semi-matt gloss value: 2-4 % additive (as supplied) based on the total formulation. Matt gloss value: 4-6 % additive (as supplied) based on the total formulation. The above recommended levels can be used for orientation. The optimum dosage should be determined by application-related test series. The additive is recommended for all common powder coating systems.
