FORMULATORY EXPERTISE
An innovative approach: creating a solid lipstick from an emulsion-based formulation, overcoming the traditional anhydrous composition of solid lipsticks.
- The objective is to obtain a solid formula containing water, providing a light and fresh sensorial feel while enabling the incorporation of water-soluble skincare actives to enhance lip volume and moisturisation.
- Hydroxypropyl Starch acts as a natural film former, creating a thin film on the lips that helps improve hydration.
- The elastomer should be dispersed in the water phase at 80°C under stirring to ensure optimal dispersion.
