RHEOBYK-R 606

RHEOBYK R 606 is a liquid rheology additive for solvent-borne and solvent-free adhesives and sealants based on polyurethane, epoxy, and acrylate resins that contain pyrogenic silica or organophilic phyllosilicates. RHEOBYK R 606 reinforces the hydrogen bonds of the silica and phyllosilicates, resulting in increased thixotropy. This achieves sufficiently high anti-sagging properties, with improved leveling and air release properties even with low quantities of silica or phyllosilicates. RHEOBYK R 606 is beneficial for applications requiring viscosity control and thixotropic properties. It provides excellent workability during application and prevents dripping for the applied materials.
