NANOBYK-3822

NANOBYK-3822 is a zinc oxide nanoparticle dispersion that provides long-term UV protection in aqueous systems. The NANOBYK-3822 additive contains 40% zinc oxide nanoparticles dispersed in water which provide protection without significantly impacting the optical characteristics of the final product. NANOBYK-3822 improves the protection of films and substrates through its UV blocking properties. It can be used in combination with organic radical scavengers for extended performance. NANOBYK-3822 is recommended for use in transparent applications where long-term UV stability is required without altering the visual properties of the final coating.
