BYK-310

BYK 310 is a silicone-containing surface additive that provides strong reduction in surface tension. It improves substrate wetting and avoids cratering. As a thermostable additive, BYK 310 shows no thermal decomposition between 150°C to 230°C, preventing loss in adhesion and surface defects from decomposition products of conventional silicones above 150°C. BYK 310 is particularly suitable for solvent-borne and solvent-free coatings, printing inks, adhesive systems and ambient-curing plastic systems. For advanced material formulations requiring high temperature stability and optimized surface properties, BYK 310 supports improved substrate adhesion and coating quality up to 210°C without compromising performance.
