TROYCHEM CALCIUM 6WD is a water-dispersible drier containing 6% calcium. It promotes through drying in water-reducible systems and improves film hardness, gloss and reduces the risk of coagulation. As a auxiliary drier, TROYCHEM CALCIUM 6WD works in conjunction with cobalt driers to reduce loss-of-dry and improves their action. It may be added during the let-down cycle with agitation at 0.02% to 0.40% of calcium metal based on resin solids. TROYCHEM CALCIUM 6WD allows easy incorporation into water-reducible auto-oxidative drying systems and emulsions, leading to better performance in end products.
