PVB 1246

PVB1246 is a concentrate of a very high colour carbon black in a Universal carrier. It is manufactured with a high pigment loading making it suitable for quality compound/component colouring. PVB1246 is based on a carrier that offers compatibility with a wide range of polymers. PVB1246 contains 50% by weight of a very high tint carbon black pigment that gives a strong deep black component colour in full tone, and very good covering power over other pigments such as Titanium Dioxide. The high loading and jetness of the carbon black pigment in PVB1246 means that masterbatch additions required for colouring are minimal. This is ideal in applications where the physical properties of the base polymer are critical and must be maintained in the final compound.
