BYK-LP N 22741

BYK LP N 22741 is a high molecular weight polymer additive with pigment affinic groups. It is used as a wetting and dispersing additive for solvent borne systems. BYK LP N 22741 provides excellent wetting, dispersion and stabilization of pigments. It prevents pigment flocculation and settling in solvent borne coatings. BYK LP N 22741 allows formulating coatings with improved color strength, gloss and opacity at lower pigment loadings. This leads to coatings with enhanced performance properties like hiding power, durability and longevity of the finished products. BYK LP N 22741 is recommended for use in solvent borne industrial and decorative coatings at 1-1.5% of the pigment for titanium dioxide and 5-10% of pigment for inorganic pigments.
