TECOFLEX EG-85A-B20

TECOFLEX EG 85A B20 is a medical grade aliphatic polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane with 20% loading of Barium Sulfate. It offers an inherent ultraviolet (UV) stability that resists yellowing by aging and sterilization. TECOFLEX EG 85A B20 has a durometer hardness of 83A and specific gravity of 1.25. It provides good mechanical properties with flexural modulus of 2,700 psi, tensile strength of 5,600 psi and elongation at break of 630%. These properties make TECOFLEX EG 85A B20 suitable for applications in the advanced materials industry that requires radiopacity, durability and flexibility. TECOFLEX grades are well-konwn for their luxurious haptic and patient comfort from the in-body softening effect.
