CERACOL 609 N

CERACOL 609 N is a wax-modified lanolin dispersion that increases scratch resistance and surface slip without influencing flexibility. It contains 20% non-volatile matter and has a typical carrier of naphthalene-depleted aromatic hydrocarbons/isopropanol 1/1. CERACOL 609 N has a melting point of 85 °C for its wax content and a particle size distribution of D50: 3 um and D90: 6 um. It has a viscosity of < 100 mPa.s at 23 °C at D=800/s. CERACOL 609 N improves scratch resistance and surface slip in solvent-borne applications. It is recommended at 1.5-2 % of the total formulation and provides benefits like enhanced durability and protection from wear and tear.
