ASPOLIT F 40

ASPOLIT F40 is a special 3-component filler consisting of muscovite, quartz and chlorite from Austrian deposits. It has a specific gravity of 2.75 and Moh's hardness of 2.5 for mica and 7 for quartz. ASPOLIT F40 has a whiteness of 77% and humidity below 1% at 100°C with an oil absorption of 21g/100g and specific surface area of 7 m2/g. Its loose bulk density is 520g/l and SiO2 content is 69.0% with Al2O3 at 15.5%, K2O at 6.5%, CaO at 0.5%, Fe2O3 at 2.0%, MgO at 2.8%, TiO2 at 0.5% and P2O5 at 0.2% with a loss on ignition of 3.0%. ASPOLIT F40 has a d98 particle size of 20.0um, d90 of 9.0um, d50 of 4.0um and d30 of 2.5um. ASPOLIT F40 is suitable for applications requiring high performance fillers due to its physical properties and chemical composition. Its density, hardness and surface area make it well-suited for industries involving coatings, construction and other applications where durability, strength and longevity are important.
