NANOBYK-3650

NANOBYK-3650 is a nanoparticle dispersion that improves the scratch resistance of solvent-borne products. It contains surface-treated silica nanoparticles with a typical particle size of 20 nm. NANOBYK-3650 provides the immediate reflow effect due to the even distribution of silica nanoparticles in the product. These nanoparticles act as shock absorbers that absorb impacting energy and release it slowly, resulting in an elastic surface with consistent hardness. Mechanical impact leaves little trace and the surface remains virtually undamaged, providing perfect long-term protection against wear and tear. NANOBYK-3650 is recommended for use in applications where durability, scratch and abrasion resistance is required.
