LUBRIZOL 5318B

LUBRIZOL® 5318B is an oil soluble additive recommended for metal removal and forming applications for ferrous metals. It is synergistic with sulfur compounds and provides outstanding performance on difficult-to-machine metals, exceeding performance of sulfur-chlorine systems. LUBRIZOL® 5318B is recommended for use in naphthenic or paraffinic base oils to formulate products for machining low carbon alloy or mild steels. It has excellent extreme pressure properties and good anti-wear properties, benefiting applications such as threading, drawing, broaching, milling, tapping, boring and drilling.
