GELZAN CM

GELZAN CM is a low-acyl gellan gum product used as a gelling agent in various applications. It is commonly used in the pharmaceuticals industry for gelling microbiological assay media and tissue culture media. GELZAN CM forms mechanically robust, transparent gels that are thermally reversible and stable over a wide pH range. It can gel a wide range of media textures from soft to firm gels. Growth within the gelted media can be easily observed. As a gelling agent, GELZAN CM allows for gelling of media without impacting cell growth.
