BYK-300 SG

BYK-300 SG is a silicone surface additive that provides medium reduction of surface tension and medium increase of surface slip in solvent-borne systems. BYK-300 SG improves leveling, gloss and substrate wetting. It prevents the formation of defects and improves anti-blocking properties. BYK-300 SG is broadly compatible and suitable for all solvent-borne systems. It can be incorporated during any stage of the production process, including post-addition. Unlike silicone oils, BYK-300 SG is very user-friendly. It improves the performance of coatings and construction materials by reducing surface tension and increasing slip. This leads to better leveling, gloss and substrate wetting. It also prevents defects and improves anti-blocking properties.
