EFFECTENZ M 2000

The EFFECTENZ® M 2000 is an alkaline mannanase for use in powder laundry detergents. Mannanases are useful for removing tough (food) stains such as ice-cream, chilled desserts, dairy products and salad dressings. These products often contain galacto-mannan gums such as locust bean and guar gum. These gums bind strongly to cellulose fibers and attract soil particles suspended in the wash water due to their adhesive properties. EFFECTENZ® M 2000 mannanase cleaves the β -1.4 linkages between mannose units via hydrolysis. The resulting watersoluble carbohydrate fragments are then transported away from the fabric by the wash water. EFFECTENZ® M 2000 is based on ENZOGUARD® granulation technology of IFF that brings high storage stability and dissolution speed, excellent distribution properties and safety to work with.
