BYK-352

BYK 352 is a polyacrylate-based surface additive used as an anti-cratering and leveling additive in solvent-borne and solvent-free coating systems. BYK 352 increases gloss and gives a long wave effect. It reduces the surface tension only slightly and does not impair recoatability or intercoat adhesion. BYK 352 also has a degassing effect and is thermostable. These properties make BYK 352 ideal for use in advanced material coatings where high quality surface finish, adhesion and degassing are important. BYK 352 can be incorporated during any stage of the production process to enhance surface properties of advanced material coatings without affecting interlayer bonding strength.
