TRILON M POWDER

TRILON® M POWDER is a high-performance, organic chelating agent. It is primarily the trisodium salt of methylglycinediacetic acid. It is supplied as a fine white to slightly yellowish powder with a high active concentration (approx. 87%) As a strong sequestering agent, its key property is the ability to form highly stable, water-soluble 1:1 complexes with polyvalent metal ions across a wide pH range (2 to 13.5). This effectively binds hard water ions, preventing scale formation, precipitation, and antagonism with surfactants. It is widely used in detergents and cleaners (laundry, automatic dishwashing, industrial cleaning) to boost performance and water-softening. It is favored as a readily biodegradable and non-toxic eco-friendly alternative to less compatible chelating agents like phosphates and EDTA.
