DISPERBYK-2081

DISPERBYK-2081 is a wetting and dispersing additive that stabilizes inorganic pigments and fillers in aqueous systems. It uses electrostatic stabilization to deflocculate pigments resulting in increased gloss and reduced millbase viscosity. As a hydrophobic additive, it minimizes water absorption in coatings, positively impacting stain and corrosion resistance. Particularly suitable for aqueous anti-corrosive primers and direct-to-metal applications, DISPERBYK-2081 influences wet and dry adhesion. It is also recommended for wood and furniture coatings where it provides benefits of improved pigment stabilization, gloss and viscosity control while reducing water uptake.
